How It Works
Getting started with FreeWorld Academy is simple:
Step 1 — Book Your Free Discovery Call
We start with a complimentary 20 minute call to learn about your child — their strengths, their struggles, their goals, and what hasn’t worked before. No pressure. Just a real conversation.
Step 2 — Personalized Learning Plan
Based on our conversation I build a personalized learning plan specifically designed for your child’s profile, needs, and goals. No cookie cutter curriculum. No one size fits all approach.
Step 3 — We Get To Work
Sessions are delivered live and 1-on-1 via Zoom — engaging, structured, and completely personalized. Your child gets the full attention of a Reading Specialist and experienced educator every single session.
Step 4 — You Stay In The Loop
You receive regular progress reports so you always know exactly where your child is, what we’re working on, and what’s next. No guessing. No surprises.
What We Cover
FreeWorld Academy provides personalized 1-on-1 instruction across all core subjects:
🔤 Reading & Literacy Intervention
Structured literacy instruction using Orton-Gillingham principles. Explicit, systematic, multisensory phonics instruction for struggling readers and children with dyslexia. We find the gap, fill it, and build fluency from the foundation up.
✍️ Writing & Spelling
From sentence structure to paragraph writing to analytical composition. We build writers who can express their thinking clearly and confidently on paper.
🔢 Math
Foundational math through pre-algebra. Conceptual understanding first — then application. We close gaps, build fluency, and make math feel approachable.
🌍 Science & Social Studies
Engaging content rich instruction that builds knowledge, vocabulary, and critical thinking across grade levels.
🧠 Executive Function Coaching
For students with ADHD, dyslexia, or executive function challenges. We explicitly teach the skills that don’t come naturally — task initiation, organization, time management, study strategies, and self monitoring.
📋 Homeschool Support
Complete academic support for homeschool families. We serve as your child’s primary educator across all subjects — building a structured, personalized, Georgia standards aligned program designed specifically for your child.

How do sessions work?
All sessions are delivered live and 1-on-1 via Zoom. Your child needs a device, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space to work. Sessions are engaging, structured, and completely personalized.
What ages and grades do you serve?
FreeWorld Academy serves students K-8, approximately ages 5-14.
Do you offer in person sessions?
We primarily serve families virtually via Zoom — which means location is never a barrier. We serve families across Georgia and beyond. Limited in person availability may be available in the Atlanta area.
What if my child has a learning difference like dyslexia or ADHD?
This is our specialty. We have extensive experience working with children with dyslexia, ADHD, executive function challenges, and other learning differences. Our approach is always personalized to how your child’s brain actually works.
Do you accept GPS — Georgia Promise Scholarship?
Yes! FreeWorld Academy is a GPS approved vendor. Eligible Georgia families can use their GPS funds to cover our services entirely.
