Our Story

FreeWorld Academy was born from a dream I’ve carried since I was a little girl.Growing up I loved learning. I was curious, engaged and excited by new ideas. But I noticed early on that not every child had that same experience. Some children dreaded school. Some felt unseen, unsupported or left behind. And I knew even then that I wanted to create something differen-— a place where every child could experience the joy of learning the way I did.

 

That dream became a reality in 2020. When the pandemic sent families home and virtual learning left parents overwhelmed and children struggling, I showed up. I launched virtual summer camps and tutoring sessions to help families navigate an incredibly difficult season. Parents saw what their children were experiencing and began asking me to teach their kids directly. Word spread. Families came. And FreeWorld Academy was born.

What started as a response to a crisis has grown into something I always knew it could be — a full K-8 educational program built around the belief that every child deserves instruction that is personalized, engaging and rooted in genuine care.

I am a homeschool mother myself. My daughters have been home educated since birth. So when you trust me with your child I don’t just bring 15 years of professional experience and a Master’s in Education — I bring the heart of a mother who understands exactly what it means to want more for your child than a one size fits all system can offer.

There is no greater feeling in the world to me than watching a student learn something new — seeing the moment it clicks, watching their confidence grow, knowing that their life and their family’s life has been changed because of it.
