ENGINEERING NOVEMBER
Science Saturdays are back at FreeWorld Academy
A science kit mailed to your door. Four Saturday mornings of live, hands-on projects. One very excited kid.
November 7, 14, & 21 | 10:00-11:00 AM ET
Grades K-8 | Live & Virtual, join from anywhere
Here's how it works
1. A kit arrives at your door
We mail our young engineers a full kit with everything they need for all three builds. You’ll only need a few common household items, like tape, scissors, and a stack of coins. We’ll send you the list.
2. Saturday morning, they log on
Every Saturday at 10 AM Eastern, your child joins me live on Zoom and we do the experiment together. Real hands-on science, not a video they watch.
3. They discover something
Cars powered by nothing but air, catapults that launch across the room, and a single sheet of paper strong enough to hold more than you’d ever guess.
November 7-Balloon-Powdered Cars
Scientists build their own car and power it with a balloon. They’ll discover how air rushing out one way sends the car zooming the other — the same idea that launches rockets into space.
November 14-Popsicle-Stick Catapults
Scientists build their own car and power it with a balloon. They’ll discover how air rushing out one way sends the car zooming the other — the same idea that launches rockets into space.
November 21-Crystal Lab
Can one sheet of paper hold a stack of coins? Scientists fold, test, and redesign like real engineers, and discover that the shape of something can matter more than what it’s made of.
November 28-THANKSGIVING BREAK
